Hey 2026, let's make something great

2025 has been a great year for me and my company The Confident.

We've achieved (nearly) all we set out to achieve, and even some things we hadn't set out to achieve!

One of the things I am most proud of is the Public Consultations module we built with Tipperary County Council so that any council using Drupal will not need to pay annual licences for public consultations platforms unless they choose to.

In 2026, I want to expand that possibility. I want to chat to anyone in any council in Ireland/UK/France/USA/etc who wants to build/fund ambitious open source products that we can then give away for all to use for free. Need an example: how about tackling Freedom of Information Act Requests?

Build to Share, as we say in Ireland. Public Funds = Public Code!
